He was born in Bucyrus on March 8, 1953 to the late Edward and Mary (Katona) Williams. Joe graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1971 where he was a split end on the 1970 undefeated football team. Prior to falling ill, he worked for Diamond Door in Upper Sandusky. He also worked for Tecum-seh, Titan Transportation and Consolidated Biscuit Co. over his career.

Joe married the former Dorthy Funk on April 29, 1995. She survives along with five children, Holly Williams of Bucyrus, Cierra Williams and Tiara Williams, both of Kansas, Alisha Williams and Austin Williams, both of Nevada-, his sister, Gale Williams-Jensen of Montana; and nephews, Stephen Jensen of Montana and Bradley and Gregory Patrick of Nevada. In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Cliff Jensen. Joe was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and had a passion for coaching youth. He coached football, basketball and baseball for 37 years and was currently the.

He graduated from Maysville High School in Zanesville, Ohio in 1964; attended Ohio University; and later joined the U.S. Air Force in 1966, serving his country during the Vietnam War by working on the planes used in battle. Ken married his best friend, Eva, at the First Baptist Church of Mishawaka, Indiana on November 18, 1967. They then lived where he was stationed in Germany and England until returning to the states. They have cherished their forty-three years together.

After his honorable discharge, Ken began working at Cooper-Bessemer in Mount Vernon and moved to Fredericktown. He later transferred to the H.P.M. Corporation in Mount Gilead, where he worked for twenty nine years in the electrical maintenance department. The family moved to Mount Gilead in 1985. A proud father of three, Ken worked two or three jobs for many years to enable Eva to be able to stay home and care for their family.

For many years, he worked part-time at Kroger's in Mount Gilead and when H.P.M. closed, he worked full-time there as a pharmacy technician. With a love for the Lord, Ken was an active member in several American Baptist churches, including First Baptist Church of Fredericktown, First Baptist Church of Mount Gilead, and Trinity Baptist Church in Marion. After completing lay pastor training through the American Baptist Churches of Ohio, he pastored Auburn Baptist Church, officiated his daughter Jennifer's wedding, was licensed to preach, became an ordained minister, and most recently pastored the First Baptist Church of Bucyrus. "Pastor Ken as he became known later in life loved people and especially enjoyed in-home and nursing home visitation.

He was an avid reader and sports fan. He participated in the Bucyrus Rotary, supported the Bucyrus Community Food Pantry, and golfed in the Genoa Baptist Church Golf League with his son, Chris. Outgoing, funny and gregarious are words that aptly describe Ken. He was truly "one of a kind." Ken will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Eva Kinner of Mount Gilead; three children: Pastor Christopher Joseph (Dayna) Kinner of Westerville, and their son, Paul Kenneth Kinner; Lisa Jean (Marceio) Galvao of Missouri City, Texas, and their children: Silas, Titus, and Lydia Galvao; and Jennifer Ellen (Ryan) Whisler of Columbus; his mother, Viola Kinner of Zanesville; two sisters: Laura Kinner of Toledo, and Susan Kinner of Newark; a brother, Phillip (Linda) Kinner of Zanesville, and their children: Steven, Bryan and Anthony; and countless dear friends. The Kinner family will greet friends from 5-8 p.m.

Martin NEVADA: Hazel Martin, 94, of 273 Bucyrus-Nevada Road, Nevada, died at home with her family by her side on Monday morning, January 10. Despite her age, she had lived a long, healthy, and spirited life and had been in ill health for only a week. She was born in Stratford, Ohio on December 12, 1916, to Carl and Delia (Lanier) Nibert. She graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1934. She was one of four sisters who preceded her.

Hazel married Robert Eugene Martin in 1935, and lived in rural Crawford County and on John Street in Bucyrus before moving to the Nevada area in 1974. She was a long-time employee Cussins and Fearn and Conley's in Bucyrus, working as a clerk for many years, which was a job she enjoyed. She and her husband also owned a fishing camp on Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada. She is survived by three of her four children: son, Robert Lee and wife, Beatrice of Bucyrus, and daughters, Toni Coakley of Nashville, TN, and Terry and husband, Bill Tebbe of Chicago, IL, and Herndon, VA; also surviving are six grandchildren, Jeff and Todd Martin, Lori Driggers, and Liana, Andrea, and Michael Freedy; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; and by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Carol Martin of Galion. Mrs. Martin loved dogs and cats, loved her family and work, and loved her dear neighbor, Dorothy Gray. At her request, there will be no calling hours or services.

He served as UAW President Local 1644 of Tiffin, former member of the Moose Lodge in Fremont, Former member of VFW Post 1078, Bucyrus, Ohio, former member of Amvets Post 27, Bucyrus, Ohio and former member of Bucyrus American Legion Post.
