was born March 30 1915 in Crawford County to the late Arthur and Ida Maude (Phillips) Gearhart Miriam graduated from Mt Zion High School in 1933 and on March 28 1937 she married Milford Fauser Together they spent 65 years farming raising a family and enjoying life together Miriam was an even tempered and kind hearted lady who understood the meaning of hard work She helped with every aspect of the farm duties in addition to cooking and baking a fresh pie almost every day for her family Miriam enjoyed entertaining for friends and family as that often meant some homemade ice cream For 30 plus years three days i a week she and her husband danced with the Buetoms Western Square Dance Club Miriam also had a strong belief in God and that was displayed through her membership at Woodlawn United Methodist Church and her involvement with the UMW and the Builders Sunday School Class She was a member of the Whetstone Community Club the Crawford County Homemakers Club and a Farm Bureau Council memory will always remain through her sewn and crotched gifts given to each family member throughout the years Miriam also enjoyed working in her garden and camping and traveling She is survived by her daughter Sandra (Larry) Young a daughter-in-law Nancy Fauser both of Bucyrus four grandchildren Kenn Knowlton Kirk (Julie) Knowlton Don (Kevin) Bishop and Steve Fauser eleven great grandchildren Kristy Jonn Mamie Josh Andrew Claire Marshall Kelly Blaine Xander and Xara and would have loved to have met her future great-great grandchild one sister Anmbel (William) Harper of Palm Harbor Florida a sister-in-law Margaret Fauser many nieces and nephews Also her second family the caregivers at Maplecrest who helped Miriam remain young and vibrant The family is forever grateful for all of your love and care provided to Miriam for the past 8 years In addition to her parents and husband Miriam is preceded in death by her son Lyle Fauser son-in-law Donn Knowlton and a sister Evelyn
