BUCYRUS: Howard Pyles 84 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday at Bucyrus Community Hospital he had been in failing health yet his death was unexpected Howard was born Dec 2 1927 in Manheim Virginia to the late Ray and Ellen (Teeter) Pyles He was married July 15 1955 to Neysa (Corathers) Pyles who preceded him in death on Nov 14 1999 In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by brother Clarence Howard is survived by son Steven (Ginger) Pylfes of Wellington OH daughter Lori (David) Looker Bucyrus grandchildren Tara (Justin) Bell Shelby Rob Washek and Kevin (Heather) Washek as well as two great grandchildren and one sister Ann Clark of PA Howard moved to Bucyrus in 1966 and retired from General Electric in 1985 after 22 years He was a graduate of Rowlesburg HS and was a graduate with honors of the Davis Elkins School in Elkins Virginia He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and a member of American Legion Post 181 He was a member of the Umted Methodist Church of Bucyrus
