She was later in the grocery business, the former Crauns Market in Galion, with her husband and son.

Most recently her employment was with the Galion YM-CA, where she, may be, remembered by many young adults who attended activities there. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Richardson-Davis Funeral Galion. The Rev. Wilbur B.

Meiser will officiate with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Galion. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (Schneider) Noblit. She was married in 1925 to Clayton E. Kreps, who died Oct.

5, 1965. Surviving her are a daughter, Virginia Mateer of Galion, a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Joyce Kreps of Galion, five grandchildren, Major Michael Mateer and Major Shawn Mateer, both of Fort Bragg, N.C., Belinda (Kreps) Callis of Gerrardstown, W.Va., Bradley Kreps of Galion and Molly (Mateer) Moore of Knightdale, N.C., and 10 great-grandchildren. A 1924 graduate of Marion Harding High School, Mrs. Kreps also graduated from Marion Business College, Marion. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Galion, where she taught Sunday school for many years and was a former member of the Naomi Sunday School Class.

Charles Golling Sr. April 10, 1924-April 29, 1995 Charles Ned Golling 71, of 153 Eaton, Dinuba, died at midnight Saturday in Veterans Hospital, Fresno, Calif. He was formerly of Sycamore. He was in Wyandot Coun-' ty to William Todd and Delta L.

(Eckert) Golling. He was married June 20, 1947, to Betty M. (Moler) Golling, who died Feb. 16, 1970. He was then married to Mrs.

Elvira Golling, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Charles N. Golling Jr. of Dinuba and Tim Golling of Sycamore, two daughters, Mrs. Susan Humer of Arlington, Texas, and Mrs.

Jan Crain of Twenty-nine Palms, seven grandchildren, a sister, Helen Grum-mel of Tiffin, and a brother, Jack W. Golling of Montgomery, Ala. Mr. Golling formerly owned Golling Drug Store in Sycamore. Retired, he was retail manager for a department store for 35 years.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 250 and Enterprise Lodge 589 of Sycamore and was of the Protestant faith. He was a yeoman second class serving from Jan. 24, 1944, to May 21, 1946 in the Navy during World War II. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore.

The Rev. Lon McSherley will officiate with burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Masonic services will be held at the funeral home Sunday at 5:30 p.m. Military graveside rites -will be by Sycamore American Legion.

Memorial contributions may be rnW 6 tKWyand6t'Coiinty Earl R. Heefner Sr. Sept. 6, 1920 -May 3,1995 Earl R. Red Heefner 74, of 5028 Morrow County Road 31, Galion, died at 9:15 p.m.

Wednesday at home after a two-month serious illness. He was born in Waynesboro, to Earl and Ellen (McCrea) Heefner. He was married Feb. 12, 1945, to Gloria M. (Wiley) Heefner of Galion, who survives.

Also surviving him are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Earl R. and Carol Heefner Jr. of Galion, Larry A. and Shirley Heefner of Crestline and Lester R. Heefner of rural Galion, a daughter, Mary Maxine Vollmer of Mansfield, a sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Glenn Cummings of Tiro, a brother, Ray E.

and Patricia Heefner of Mansfield, 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were three brothers, Robert Heefner, Raymond Heefner and Benjamin Heefner. Mr. Heefner was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Marine Corps. He was a member of the- South View Baptist Church, American Legion Scarbrough Post 243 and a life time member of AMVETS Post 30, all of Galion.

He was a lifetime farmer in Richland and Morrow counties. He retired in 1983 from Ideal Electric, Mansfield, after 36 years, where he was a large assembley erector. He enjoyed wood working in his shop at home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Richarson-Davis Funeral Home, Galion.

The Rev. Gerald R. Clevenger will officiate with burial in Oak Grove Memorial Park, Lexington. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the South View Baptist Church Land Project.

Mary E. Kreps Aug. 1, 1906-May 4,1995 Mary Edna Kreps, 88, of 258 S. Jefferson St. Galion, died at 1 10 a.m.

today in Rosewood Manor Nursing Center, Galion, after a long illness. She was bom in Galion to Thomas and Marguerite Donald Chester July 10, 1925 May 3, 1995 Donald Tunnie Chester, 69, of 106 E. Eighth Sycamore, died at 11:01 a.m. Wednesday in Marion Med Center Hospital. He was born in Benton to Milo J.

and Lindia (Stover) Chester. He was married May 7, 1945, to Kathryn (Baker) Chester, who survives. Also surviving are eight children, Daniel L. Chester of Columbus, Donald A. Chester, David J.

Chester, Dale E. Chester mid Delbert L. Chester, all of Sycamore, Dennis E. Chester and Douglas R. Chester, both of rural Sycamore, and Mrs.

James (Diane) Beidelschies of Upper Sandusky, 12 grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren, two step grandchildren, a brother, Walter Chester of Tiffin. Preceding him in death were four brothers, five sisters and granddaughter. Mr. Chester was a retired truck driver and an avid fast pitch softball player for many years. He was of the Protestant faith.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore. The Rev. Van Fisher will officiate with burial in Benton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 6-9 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyandot County i Heart Support Group or Hospice i of Wyandot County. Geneva E. Fulton 1 April 18, 1913 -May 3, 1995 Geneva E. Fulton, 82, of 211 Bland died at 1:21 p.m. I Wednesday in Heartland of 8 Bucyrus following a lingering illness.

i She was born in Bucyrus to Ed-, ward and Clara (Haley) Fulton. 1 She is survived by several cousins. A brother, William sisfi' Ethfelj Fisher; preceded Mi irfdedthf 3 A lifetime area Miss Fulton graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1931 and took Miami University teacher training. She was a teacher for 20 yeara at Kilbourne Shcool then worked 20 years as medical assistant to Dr. D.D.

Bibler until 1 1974. I Miss Fulton was a member of First Presbyterian Church, I where she was a deacon, and a member of the Presbyterian Womens Association. She was a member of the Ohio Education Association, Ohio Retired Teachers Association and a former member of the Clionian Club and Fidelis Circle of Kings Daughters. Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery.

Elsie Charleton of Bucyrus, Mrs. Robert (Irene) Virtue of Bucyrus and Mrs. Kenneth (Wanda) Fox of Upper Sandusky. Preceding him in death were three brothers, Ralph Downing, Raymond Downing and Louis Downing, and two sisters, Ada Ream and Erma i Pearl. i Mr.

Downing was a night watchman at Swan Rubber Co. in Carey, and a night watchman 'and truck driver at Essex Wire Co. in Carey. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Stom-baugh Memorial Funeral Home, Carey.
