Fourteen- -BUCYRUS (OHIO) Accident, Reported The first signs of spring revealed the worst in area drivers as 11 of them were among the 57 cited over the weekend by the Bucyrus Highway Patrol. There also was one accident reported Saturday. The lone mishap involved John D. Inscho, 16, of 5033 Ohio 598, Crestline, who drove off the right side of Ohio 598 one-tenth of a mile north of U.S. 30.

at 5 p.m. Inscho hit a mailbox, causing minor damage to his car, but there was no injury reported. Local people heading to court today are: Christopher A. Rank, 18, of 5648 Cox Tiro, for passing a stopped school bus; James A. Schiebler, 61, of 540 Tiffin Bucyrus, for speeding.

According to a report from Sheriff Floyd Smith, Buckeye Central High School did not evacuate following another bomb threat which was received by a Telegraph-Forum office employee Friday at approximately 2:15 p.m. The T-F employee notified the Sheriff's Department of the bomb threat, which in turn alerted Buckeye Central. According to Sheriff Smith, officials at Buckeye Central stated that there was only another hour or more of classes before students' would be dismissed.

The Sheriff's Department dispatched several deputies to the scene who conducted a thorough search of the school but reported that no bomb was According to the T-F employee, the bomb threat caller was a male who made the call from a telephone booth. She added that she knew the threat was made from a pay telephone booth because she could hear the the coins slot. as they dropped through "You have one hour to get the kids out of Buckeye Central," was the statement made the caller, according to the T-F employee. She was later asked to listen to several tape recordings made by the Sheriff's Department to see if she could identify the bomb threat caller. According to the Sheriff's Department, no identification of the voice from the March 16 bomb threat was made after listening to the tapes.

The Sheriff's Department made seven tape recordings using different men's voices by repeating the same statement as recorded by Buckeye East Elementary following a bomb threat Feb. 19. Persons who have received various bomb threat calls, against Buckeye Central have listened to the tape recordings to see if they can identify the person who made the bomb threat which they received. Last Friday's bomb threat made the third call against Buckeye Central which was received by an employee at the Telegraph- Forum, each by different employee. Of thee numerous threats made against Buckeye Central, no two persons have ever received a the same bomb threat call.

Ironically, last Friday's threat was received while former Tiro Police Chief Mike Little, 38, of 126 S. Main who is with four counts of inducing panic, first degree misdemeanor, by making bomb threats against the Buckeye Central School system, awaited his preliminary hearing in Municipal Court. A probable cause hearing was held Friday following a motion made by Assistant Prosecutor Dustin Redmond requesting that a tape recording of Little's voice be made for examination purposes by an expert in Michigan. Following testimony of three witnesses for the prosecution, Municipal Court Judge John F. Bender ordered that Little's voice be tape-recorded after he found that there was probable cause to believe that the voice recorded on the tape Feb.

Sr. Auditor For Ferguson Is Indicted be no tail To BC COLUMBUS (UPI) A Franklin County grand jury today indicted John A. Blum, senior deputy auditor for state Auditor Thomas A. Ferguson, on two counts of accepting bribes and three other counts.

Also indicted was Raymond A. Castelluccio, president of the Unus Corp. of Cleveland, and the Unus Corp. The indicted in company was connection with consulting contracts with Ferguson's office. A spokesman for the county prosecutor's office said at least one more indictment would be handed down today.

In addition to the bribery charges, Blum was indicted on two counts of having unlawful interest in a public contract and one count of theft in office. Castelluccio, also know as Ray Castel, was indicted on one count of bribery. The grand jury has been investigating Ferguson's office since last summer and two persons, John A. Draggo of Georgetown and Frank R. Franko of Youngstown, were indicted last month for theft in office.

The grandparents of a one-year-old female from Bucyrus were granted temporary custody of the child after she was found to have been neglected by her parents. Each parent of the child was ordered to pay $30 in support of the girl. A 12-year-old male from Bucyrus, charged with vandalism and arson, was placed in temporary custody of the Ohio Youth Commission and ordered to make restitution.

A 14-year-old Bucyrus male was placed on probation and had his temporary placement at the Ohio Youth Commission suspended after be was found guilty of burglary and arson. He was also dered to make restitution. Diee Clayton, 17, of 1007 Bucyzus Gallon, had his operator's license suspended until March 27 after he was found guilty of failing to stop within assured clear distance. A 16-year-old Bucyrus male was placed in permanent custody of the Ohio Youth Commission and ordered to make restitution after he was found guilty of the theft of CB radios and ears. A 16-year-old Bucyrus male, charged with the theft of a motorcycle, had his case dismissed.

A 15-year-old Galion male was given an 8.p.m. curfew until March 28 after he was found guilty of assault. WATCHES Bulova, Accutron, Caravelle, Croton, Wittnauer, Selko, Times Two Arrested In Sign Theft Try Quick action by Bucyrus police averted the theft of a Ronald McDonald sign by two Bucyrus males around midnight yesterday. Curtis Allen Pauley, 18, of 1677 Colonial Dr. and Mark Douglas Groves, 20, of 1675 Colonial were arrested as the result of police investigation of the attempted sign theft. The pair was spotted by officers carrying the sign from the restaurant at 1660 Marion Rd. to the rear of a camper-type truck and place it inside.

After checking with McDonald's employees, the truck was stopped, the sign discovered and the pair arrested. The pair was later released on their own recognizance for a March 27 Municipal Court appearance. United Airlines Union Okay Pact WASHINGTON (UPI) Negotiators for United Airlines and the machinists and aerospace workers union today reached tentative agreement on a new contract in a 22-hour bargaining session, federal mediators announced. The contract, which still must be approved by 18,000 machinists and other union members, reportedly would provide wage increases of about 30 percent over the next three years. The agreement was reached at 6:30 a.m.

after just over: 22 hours of talks without a break. Representatives of the two sides ate hamburgers and sipped coffee and soft drinks during the session. The receiving center will be dedicated in honor of former Crawford County Juvenile and Probate Judge Constance Keller who served in that capacity from 1936 until 1968, just prior to her death. To be known as Keller Hall, the center will be dedicated in ceremonies beginning at 2 p.m. with Children Services Board member and WGLX Radio President and General Manager Ray Malone serving as master of ceremonies.

Tours of the facility will be included in the program. The center was built with a federal grant in the amount of $317,000 with the balance being paid by around $50,000 in county funds. Recently completed, and 0c- cupied, the center has been designated as a receiving center for the Children's Home in compliance with the state licensing law. All children who need emergency shelter, regardless of who brings them in, will utilize the facilities for a maximum of 180 consecutive days. Children coming to the center are those awaiting court disposition, unruly, school truant, children in family crisis, runaways, dependent, neglected, abused, awaiting placement in other juvenile facilities, emotionally unstable or for medical isolation.

(UPI) President Carter and his chief economic and energy advisers met at Camp David today to weigh proposals that would end current price controls on crude oil a move certain to boost inflation.

Higher gasoline prices and lower thermostats could result from the meeting. Two large military helicopters shuttled the presidential advisers from Washington to the mountaintop retreat for the daylong conference that began at 9 a.m. EST. Area Deaths Burton Sprau Burton E. Sprau, 69, of 2, Sycamore, died at 2:35 p.m. Saturday in Marion Commuity Med Center.

He had been ill for the past five months. He was born Sept. 8, 1909, in Tymochtee Wyandot County, to William Henry and Mary B. (Blue) Sprau. He married Grace Price, 8, 1934.

Surviving are his wife, five children, Charles W. Sprau of Nevada, Daryl B. Sprau of Carey, William W. Sprau of McCutchensville, Mrs. Robert (Lucille) Dunn of Bucyrus and Mrs.

Gary (Helen) Gregg of Sycamore, 14 grandchidren, two great grandchidren, one brother, Virgil W. Sprau of McCutchensville, and two sisters, Mrs. Camilla Blackburn of Tiffin and Mrs. Cozetta Richardson of Tiffin. Mr.

Sprau was a retired farmer and lived his whole life in Sycamore. Private funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore. The Rev. William H.

Chidester will officiate and burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, McCutchensville. Calling hours will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Sycamore Church of Christ. Fred Schultz Fred W.

Schultz, 82, of 1030 Elm died at 7:50 a.m. Monday in Bucyrus Community Hospital. He had been ill for the past few months. He was born Feb. 24, 1897 in Detroit, to Louis and Ida (Radee) Welcher.

He married Myrtle Hart Reed, Jan. 6, 1928. She preceded him in death. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Lurine Temple, Mrs.

Clara Kasper and Mrs. Elsie Odell, all of Detroit, Mich. Mr. Schultz was a retired truck driver working in Detroit for 38 years. He came to this community five years ago.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Horne. The Rev. M.P. Paetznick will officiate and burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.

Calling hours will be anytime after 12 noon Tuesday in the funeral home.
